Topic: CB550 replacement coil fitment

My stock coil needs replacing as one of the wires is exposed and frayed right where the wire meets the coil.

Are there any replacements out there that are bolt on or do they require making some sort of mounting bracket? Also, are Dyna brand coils much better or are you just paying for brand name?

Can't speak for others but the "standard" (not mini) Dyna coils fit on the stock mounting posts after a bit of rework on the posts with a file. The original coils will still work on the modified posts.
