I guess the thing I find disgusting about both of them is neither had/has the courage to own their mistakes.

I would not associate with either of them,  Jackasses both.

Butthoonose?

Back to deer.  I guess my point is they are currently unable to properly identify vehicles as killers they cannot outrun. That their best defense against a vehicle is stealth, not flight, because they lack the speed to evade.  The reason they hang out along our roads is they find good eating in the grasses and young trees we promote along the highways. This is a conflict to their instincts.

Contrast the deers behavior with that of a buzzard savaging the deer's carcass, the bird gets out of the way, the deer assumes it is fast enough to escape.  Maybe this is because it cannot properly see where as the Buzzard can see a squirrel in the road fro a mile away.

Recently the state of Georgia received a letter from a citizen who was complaining that the state had put a deer crossing close to her house and she wanted to know why it was not put in a more rural location. Apparently the State had put up new warning signs for a deer crossing.

Yes, how dare that damned state 'place a deer crossing' sign near her house?!?!?  ;D

Now you just go and tell those darned deer to cross the road elsewhere!!
