Different week than what Dennis is doing. Lots of rain. Turns into a shallow lake. Letting it dry and hoping for Monday.

What Dennis is doing was previously Call BUB Speed Trails or something similar.

Its a real bummer and I feel the pain for all the toil and expense invested.........and the HOPES of each team that was looking forward to competing at the SCTA event.  Some of them may not get another chance at this experience.  :'(This is not the first time that the event has been cancelled, but it is rare. This may be a record...........every planned event since the last day of the 2013 motorcycle (formerly BUB) speed trials has been cancelled due to rain & flooded conditions.

With no further rain, the salt-flats will typically be dry in about a week. The Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials event is planned to begin on Saturday, the 23rd, with activity through the 28th. I'm planning on having a good time :) :) :)
