What sheep shagging jokes?  :o
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I think that cams can effect this setup greatly.  My 836 screeeems.....this guy that built mine (in the late '70s), had an area cam wizzard weld and re-grinde the cam to some home-spun spec.  Even with '76 carbs, it rocks....and I've ridden many fast bikes.  Even has better than average bottom end torque.  0-60, about 4 seconds, but I admit....it's got 15 / "43" sprokets.  15/41 was stock in '76.  Still do 120 or more though.  7200 rpms breaks the rear tire loose in the 1st three gears, and 85 to 120 on this bike is amazing!!

Some makes of cams are better than others.  Ask some people around here what they've tried and how they liked it.

Our CR has the same problem in first to third with that gearing. ::)
It's not the power that dose it on ours, we are 100lb lighter than stock.
Can't wait for the 836, cam and ported head ;D ;D ;D

What surprises me the most about this odd cam I've got is that when you turn from a stop sign, you've got'a be careful or the rear will get away from you......bottom end torque!!!  ....but the 836 and standard air-box helps that.

That's one fine lookin' bike you've got there!!

I've topped out the front shocks on mine, with just regular speed shifting....if it was any lighter, I'd be on my back side.  ouch!!

If Sam would quit drinking all that beer he might drop a few more kg (aka 2.2lbs) and a second or 2.  ;).
That stuff is hard on old guys like us.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

If Sammy stopped drinking beer he'd realise that he's not the best looking rooster in the henhouse, that he can't sing for #$%* and his jokes are naff. Keep drinking Sammy, at least the extra weight helps keep the front wheel down! Cheers, Terry. ;D
