Cam question- Anyone timed and measured a DP295?
« on: August 11, 2014, 02:04:04 AM »
I have read different numbers about the cam DP295 that should be an RC295 copy.
Anyone that has the numbers from own timing?
IN   open/close at 0.004" or 0.005" lift?
EX  open/close at 0.004" or 0.005" lift?
Total lift IN/EX ?

Gives a great spread of power in the automatic, not the best for top end power but a great all round cam.

Yes, that's why I'm interested.
I need a cam with longer duratíon than I have now since I think the engine will run cooler with less dynamic compression.
Action Fours SS-1: 254/256 @ 0.004" lift (lift 0.361")
Less pinging too.

I have another candicate. Megacycle 125-25, moderate cam with longer duration, especially EX.
Easy to change cam when the bike has frame kit.
