Topic: Color Scheme

I have just finished sanding priming and painting my '76 CB750k's Tank, Side covers and Fairing a deep red...  I am thinking of slapping some racing stripes on the tank and fairing, (I thought of flames but cant find any i like)  my main question i have is about the exhaust (headers and pipes) the headers only have a little rust at the top i can probably grind down and leave chrome, or I was thinking of buying the "Duplicolor High heat Red http://duplicolor.com/products/colors/highheat.html " is an almost dead match for the tank paint, I'm not sure if i want to contrast(uaing white to match the stripes ) red to blend, or just ust the plain old flat black... (of course i could always have them powdercoated but a can of paint is cheaper)  I am also debating on painting the fenders and am trying to decide, same as the rest ordifferent...

I need to decal and clear coat them but you'll know what color I'm dealing with when i post them

White headers are some hardcore #$%*. Not for the faint of heart. 

My eyes, my eyes......oh the humanity.....and the cleaning! But really interesting to look at.

i am old fashioned i guess. I think the header should be black or chrome ( blue and rusty). as far as powder coating, I dont think regular powder coat will take the heat of a header. Ceramic coat would, and it would look good. that's my opinion

I knew the white wouldnt be recieved well as soon as i typed it, seeing as how hard it is to keep the chrome exhaust clean with crap baking on it all the time...
I am leaning more toward Flat black for the headers, I was wondering though dosnt it look odd for the header to be a different color than the exhaust pipes?  for example all red or black vs black headers with red pipes

If i dont like it or its hard to clean i can always re spray it... hee hee hee
Quick fixes are cheaper than doing it right, especially when i am saving money for a true "Restoration" of it later.
