Honda cb750 Gas Tank Options

Hello,
Does anyone know if a Honda early 1980's HONDA CB1100F Gas tank will bolt up to a Honda CB750 SOHC...I don't currently have the tank inorder to check...but it looks to have the same front mounting "c" tabs..

Any thoughts

Ma man, dammed good question.
When you find out let me know as I would love a bigger capacity fuel tank for the CB 750 K5.
Mine is due back from the Liquid Overhaulers  on Friday.

Yes,,I will post a picture of my original tank and frame

the tank on mine was a 750/900/1100F from a dohc, and it fitted fine on the 1976 750F SOHC,

BUT the rear tank mount tabs had been ground off from the frame, where the rear rubber sat..

sorry it may not be a good photo but will give you the idea of the look...

will post it next few minutes

found some of it  .....also the picture of the frame shows where the frame had a plate welded to it to allow the rear of the fuel tank to sit....
