Aluminum Rim Maker ID

Have a shouldered 18' rim laced to CB750 hub,rim is stamped ME-8137 40 , it has 40 spokes so kinda got that one, but who would be the maker with the ME code ? Wheel is from an early 70's racing bike. Thanks
