Got the last bit of paint on the engine tonight, New rubber boots and some clamps, Looks pretty good if i do say so!

Since my post I had a few people asking me if I wanted to sell some parts they noticed in the pictures, For now all these are for me and my next build :)

I have most of the parts for this bike lined up ready to go! As soon as I get a new race and can install the triple it will all go back together as fast as my hands can move! Newly painted fork lowers ( Im not a huge fan of Polished ), New coil wires spliced into the original coil pack with NGK splicers and new NGK plug caps!

Nope I'm selling that one. It's the green 500i had that lost its transmission  but I swapped in a 74 550 motor. I'm actually going to repaint it though. I love the planet blue metallic but can't justify the price of that remade paint. I heard rumors that Acura makes a paint similar to that I may just try that and see what happens!

Sadly none:( I sold my 350f back in December. Didn't want to but I don't have a ton of room and needed to step up bigger anyway. Went to a good home and got a very nice chunk of change for her.

It's hard selling something you built yourself. I sold the first bike I did, a CM400, to have money to build my 750. At least not having a bike to ride motivates you to get the next one on the road.

Tyler,
That 750 has lots of nice stuff on it.  8) Those wheels/mags look a lot like they're from an older BMW twin.. they don't match the bike as much but still decent.

2-Stroke Rush, hit me up when you want to get rid of those wheels.  Did you check out frame and engine numbers yet?  Those are KO sidecovers.

They're not BMW wheels as the rear would have the integrated shaft drive. I do agree, at first blush they resemble the snowflakes from their late 70s R models though.

They look like could be modded R100 wheels Cal. What casting marks do the wheels have in them Tyler? also looks like you've got a Yosh. type exhaust.

Yeah the pipe does look like a yoshi type style. I was told the PO raced it a few times. The rear has been setup for hydraulic disk brakes as well as dual disks on the front. I even  got a unusual cafe type rear seat that was used for racing as well. Side cover and air box match in color so I'm hoping they are stock. Bike titles as 1970.

I think I'm going to take this one with me to trade school and rebuild it while in there. We get 2 months in the machine shop there and can bring our own projects for class assignments so that takes care of the motor. I need to find some more stock parts for it tho. Wheels, fenders, wiring harness. Foot pegs ect ect

You could also see if the cyl. head had some special work done to it and if so you might find a junk old CB750 head somewhere and pull some pieces of the fins off the right side to repair your broken fins on the right.A good tig welder dude could manage to restore the right side fins.

I'm wondering what trick bits it may have lurking inside the engine. Imagine if someone bought a hopped up Mike Rieck equipped motor in a barn find 20 years from now.

Guess we will find out when I get into it eventually! Also got 2 bridgestone BS 175s and enough parts to completely rebuild both of them. I don't know anything about them except there from the 60s and apperently fairly rare. I plan to just sell these. May be able to get a nice amount of cash for them since they're rare. Also got a box of honda dream and 150 parts. It was a good pick

There was a firm in UK making solid alloy sprokets, didn't last well
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Technically I live outside the city now, Ellicott City. Grew up in Pikesville on the city line.
