Cal,

Have you figured out how to program the indicators to flash X number of times and then cancel?

I was also wondering about the following:  "the m-Button digitally processes signals and transmits them to the m-Unit V.2 over a thin cable." (from Motogadget)

I took this to mean that everything wired to the m-Button and then a single fiber optic/digital cable connected the m-Button to the m-Unit -- thereby eliminating all but a couple of wires to the m-Unit.  This would not appear to be the case.  Can you shed some light on this?

Thanks,
Don

The M-Button does convert the handle bar switch inputs from analog to digital. Then, from the the M-B to M-Unit a single wire (green coincidentally) runs back to the CONFIG input. This carries all control signal inputs.

The actual device power comes from the right side, as an output. It's all switched, fused supply essentially. Just run wires from the Turn L forward and rear to the signal indicator and you're turn signals are wired. (as an example).

As for the indicator programming, I'm only aware of time-based self canceling options. On the 10" interval, beginning with 10" from activation, up to 50" if I recall. You can also set them to be always on as markers, plus the flash mode when turning. Switch action resets the counter and begins again should you be turning left in LA...  ;)

The BRAKE function does allow "strobing" as long as the brake switch is active. I use this with an LED tailight, very bright.

Sorry ADV for the thread jack-

Little more progress. Figured the brake light out. For some reason dcc has the tail light set up as
Yellow=ground
Black=running light
Red=brake light

I was just assuming black would be ground lol

You do realize the stock Honda color code is GREEN for ground? Their light can be anything of course, but you can sometimes open the element and find the label at the fixture when unknown.

I know Hondas is green. But I expected an universal aftermarket tail light to be a normal ground color lol

Sadly today I noticed my steering is pretty notchy. I'd explain it as wanting to detent to center. So I think a taper bearing set up is in store for me

Having alot of starting issues. Most of the time the bike won't electric start sometimes it'll kick start. Spark is intermittent. Wiring is a disaster. Bout to light it on fire
