Looks awesome Bill! I'm sure we'd all love to hear/see a video if you have the technology. I know I would.  8)

The good thing is that you got older tech know-how matched with the right bike!

You're right Tews.  They look awesome.  Anybody know how difficult they are to dial in correctly?

They arent that bad if you understand timing in general.
I think that in one of the ARD threads here there is a scan of the original instructions.

Some have different ways to set the advance.  Most just have a preset amount in the physical magneto.
Cant think of any that have a similar to stock set up that changes with RPM.

they are very easy to set up once you wrap your head around it,the original ints are kind of vague or at least I found it to be ,you can set them up on the bench and put them on with the pulleys installed, and your engine in the correct position ie find tdc on no 1 cyl then use stock auto advance to turn engine to full advance, if you have the pin for the mag drive set right you can drop the mag on bolt her up ,run your wires and start it up no prob.they run at full advance usually, but can be set to the number of deg retard or advance you want but it runs fine on my bike as is full advance.to change the advance you would use a deg wheel if you were looking for an exact setting.this is the first time I have ever set one up so it cant be that hard, but I have set lucas mags before.bill

looks pretty cool...but it's hard to tell without a picture of the whole bike.  Will you be able to get the back of that tank to sit down a little farther?  One time I bought a cb550 basket case and it came with a Suzuki GT550 tank.  It looked real good on that 550.
If it works good, it looks good...

yes I could get it down a bit but from the side it looks level where its at ,also I have a clearance issue with petcock ,I have to add more thread to the spigot and shorten it to get room.the color does not help with the look.this tank and seat are 360.the seat will eventually change to something other than café ,maybe along the lines of blue turbos bike.bill

Hey Bill, How about a photo with the RC Engineering header on the bike
Lee
They are not all the same!

Oh man that sound is very distinct! I have never heard a 750 sound like that! The exhaust sounds great too but the sound of the engine itself seems very quiet......!!!! Well done BP!

Hi bill . I like the look of that tank , a very subtle improvement , and I'm sure if done right it could look  "factory"  .
