Manx Grand Prix / Classic TT
« on: September 02, 2014, 11:35:01 pm »
Back from the IOM Manx Grand Prix / Classic TT. Just like to say a big thanks to all friends and people who helped in many ways. A big mention to Chris (Kit Kat) Cowper who came all the way from OZ to help. As most of you will know the Honda 500/4 finished 22nd and 4th in its class, with an average speed of 94.645 MPH with a fastest lap of 96.384 MPH and a fuel stop, and the little 350/4 with 34 BHP expired from lack of oil at Water works on the last lap, i suppose not bad with a top speed of 99 MPH down Sulby and 99 MPH past the Grandstand, and an average speed of 82.451 MPH. Came away with a Bronze Replica. Once again thanks to all.
Col.

I was there and watched you run. Your bike sounds awesome! Your 4 into 4 really screams and has given me ideas for my next 550 project waiting in the wings.  I think I was at Hillberry when you ran the 500 and probably have video of you. I know I have some video in the paddok as well. I'm still in Ireland and will post up video when I get home and find the time to edit 4 hours of video! Congradulations on a fine run and a beautiful machine. Anybody that rides the TT course desirves a lot of credit.
