Honda CB 750 Cam
« on: August 17, 2014, 11:05:47 PM »
Hi and thanks for letting me join the forum,  I'm in the process of doing up the top end of my Honda4 , it has a MTC 890 kit with a 67mm bore , this was done back in the late 70's and what I need to know is the type of cam I have installed, it has the Number  5 1 stamped on the end, it may be an RC cam but I'm not sure , has anyone go any idea on what sort it is?
I live in Brisbane , Australia .

  Thanks ,   Ian.

Welcome Ian, i was looking at your forum name, are you the guy with the Yamaha frame with the Honda 4 engine in it or the Honda frame with the yammy tank and side covers...?
The MTC kit would be 888cc i think, i have one of the MTC 67mm kits as well, they were usually referred to as 900 kits in the old days.. ;)

Is it possible to post pics of the cam.? You'll need at least 5 posts before you can post pics, pic of the bike to please... :D

If You can't fix it with a hammer, You've got an electrical problem.
