Yeah I was kinda figuring i might just want to do all four anyhow since they do have 40,000 on em, the measuring part shouldn't be difficult at all, a friend of my bosses is the best engine mechanic in this portion of the state, so he should be able to bang out some measurements and recommendations well enough,

So I went to the local honda dealership and they said for all 4 sets itd be 160, which i can do if i have to but if i could go a cheaper route i would much rather prefer that. I've looked around online and found a few sets i could get cheaper, whats the general opinion of these?

I used aftermarket sets from japan. I think they were less than $60 for 4 sets shipped.  That was 8000 miles ago

Good news folks!

Got the motor pulled apart, supervised by my uncle, and he took the top end components to his friend the engine specialist and he's cleaning and going over them all to make sure they're all the way they need to be. I also have a new set of piston rings incoming, so hopefully they'll be here by next week. I'll be ordering a set of top end gaskets tomorrow probably, and then hopefully we can be on the way to getting it back together :) Thank you guys for all the help and support!
