Hi all, bored and dreaming about getting my bike on the road. So was thinking, do any of you fellow Aussies ever get together for a ride?
As you can tell by the name I am down Wollongong way, so do any Sydney, Wollongong, southern Highlands, South Coast blokes ever get together? How many people from that area come on to the forum?
I usually ride my Suzuki TS 400 on vintage runs around Wollongong with my Vintage Club, ride my Honda XL350R in Vinduro and will ride the CB550 on longer rides with my club. But was thinking about putting on full rego and would be great when I get it running to ride with another bunch of Honda 4's
so any interest in the future maybe?

Classic and Enthusiasts in Wollongong. VJMC are not down here I think. Easier for classic rego checks and local rides on the TS. The guys do longer rides down the coast and to the Southern Highlands, so the CB550F should be great for the job.
The two stroke TS400 vibrates too much for a long ride.
But having said that I rode one down to Tasmania from Sydney and back in the mid 70's, the things you do when your young!
The Honda is my first Jap road bike. I had a Triumph Trident 750 T150V from the mid 70's till mid 80's, will always be my real love, but the things are so expensive now, parts are hard to find and difficult to fix and find an expert.
Back in the day, Jap bikes and Abba were not cool in my world, but age changes things and I find the 550 now ,a work of art, puts a mile on my face everytime I walk into the garage and I even sing a few Abba tunes to myself on the odd occasion!

Hi Wolfie,
I'm in CEMCC as well. I have a CB750 that I usually ride on one the midweek rides from Heathcote down to Stanwell or Sublime point. Might bump you there?

Ridden with you guys 3 or 4 times. Usually on the Suzuki TS400. I will defently see you on a mid week ride when I have the new bike up to scratch.
Waiting on new header pipes. New ones arrived from Motad and were not correct, waiting for replacement
Just ordered a new master cylinder kit as fixed the calliper seals, now the other is leaking. Lots of polishing etc, so hope it will be on the road in the next few weeks to a month.
