A Good Engine Building Shop in Sydney, Australia??? Anyone???

Hi Everyone

I've decided to get the engine rebuilt in the old girl and have no problem at all sourcing a vast range of great parts...oversize pistons, balanced and lightened crank, rods, pins...everything.....but for the life of me can't seem to find a decent shop in Sydney that I can trust to do the milling work to the block and porting and valve work to the head.

The only shops I can find are ones dedicated to car engines not motorcycle engines.

Can any Australian members recommend anyone with specific motorcycle expertise??? Preferably in Sydney, but happy to receive suggestions from elsewhere.

You guys in the States are so lucky...from reading these posts, you seem to have a local shop in every suburb...or at worst you freight your head a couple of states away rather than from across the Pacific

Thanks in advance for any assistance at all.

They did some head work for me awhile ago that I was happy with.

thanks Mick7504 and disco for the contributions...the rest of you larrikyns....what can I say....no wonder they "Moved to Australia" on this post....sheesh.....and I was wondering about aluminum wheels.....or nucular weapons.....
