CB360T - Frame Bracket Identification
« on: August 30, 2014, 02:53:57 PM »
Hello Folks,

Rebuilding a '76 CB360T with a friend and we are trying to figure out what the hell this bracket is for that is welded to the front main downtube.  See picture.  Was this a bracket for some factory accessory?

Cheers, Joe

Here's a shot of an old CB450 Police Special (a 4-speed), it has a similar attachment point.......

Thanks.  After you posted that I found pictures online.  This bike is not going to be a stock restoration, so some extra bits are going to be cut off the frame.  We were mocking the bike up to make sure nothing important gets nixed and for the life of us couldn't figure out what that bracket was for.

Cheers, Joe
