Let's see before and after pics of your sohc
« on: August 31, 2014, 07:37:28 AM »
There's some amazing bikes on this forum and lot of people putting in some hard work to get their bikes where they want them.

Going threw these builds I love seeing how these sometime neglected and forgotten bikes started off and how they turn out after countless hours of blood sweat and tears.

Post up your before and afters of your sohc's,  I'll start with my cb550 build

That's quite a difference.

Mine... not so much, but it looks very fresh right now.  Here's an Oct 2010 and then today.

I bought this one in 2009

Sold it two years later like this

Seriously regret selling it, I have another one now that I plan to do along similar lines.

Very sweet 550 you have there :)

A few comments:
1)  RobbyD - I've never been that big of a fan of cafe bikes but DUDE, that is one sweet ride.  You did a heck of a job on that one and now I'm seriously Jones'ing for one of those.
2)  FunJimmy - damn you and RobbyD.  Now I'm rethinking my entire lack of cafe love. :)  Outstanding paint job.
3)  AlbertaBoy - where did you find the 4-into-4 pipes?  Those are sweet.
4)  Bwaller - very nice bike.  Your wheels are dramatically different when cleaned up.  How did you get them to look so good?  New rims/spokes, re-spoking kit or voodoo?
