Topic: starter cable

Hello all. I'm trying to replace the cable coming from the starter motor on my cb750 k4 project. When I finally removed the starter motor and disassembled, this is what I found. Has anyone done this or have any advice? I can't see how this cable disconnects or how I would reattach another cable if I were to get it disconnected. Thanks.

From the parts schematic it looks to be non removable, and it looks like the insulator bushing\grommet is missing from yours.
