Topic: 77 cb750 wiring harness same as 75?

Will the partsnmore one work for my 77? If not does anybody know where i can find a new harness.

The Honda shop manual show a different wire diagrams for 77 CB750K.
The 77 shows several block connectors not found on earlier models.
I can imagine you can make it work, if you transfer the block connectors and terminals over to the older harness.  Or convert the components on your 77 to eliminate the block connectors.
77 also has a different Key switch and connector than the 76 and prior.

If you change enough things you can make anything work.

The best change I can recommend for you, is to not rely on Clymer for precise guidance.

Why do your think your existing harness is beyond repair?

There are lots of differences, IMHO it's not worth it to make the 73 harness work on your 77.

Switchgear is also different.

It can be made to work if you have a Very Solid understanding of Bike wiring.

What specifically are you looking to replace on your 77?

Well for starters i'm no good at wiring.
My rear running light isn't working so i traced some wires and found a bunch of corroded and melted wire. Its a mystery how the running light was the only thing not working correctly. I did a little more prodding and found that someone somewhere had done alot of cutting and splicing to the harness especially in the head light bucket. I figured, instead of the headache of trying to repair the harness it would just be easier to get a new unmolested one.
