Says it's worth 2300 but he'll let it of for 1900 because he wants to buy his next bike really soon.

Taboo??  Are you kidding?  Guessing bikes value is our fav game!

Go check the bike out, if if looks and runs good, offer him $1600 (and have cash in pocket).

Well...I've been away from the forum for a while, at least as a contributor.  But I wanted to share that I did buy the '75 550F that I looked at last fall. Got a few rides in before the weather got too cold to tolerate.  Loved it!  Look for me popping up with some other posts now 'cause my list of questions is now growing!

Thanks for all the advice several months ago!
