that shade cloth doesent billow at all,we use a heavier grade stuff on the trucks bins, the boss has them made up from a shade sail place with brass eyelets we fix rope to,they last quite well maybe 12 months?we cover a lot of builders rubbish with odd angle sharp tin roof and gutter off cuts and timber with nails and glass poking up,they get shredded after a while, not worth using anything more expensive, suddenly now we see a lot of tradesmen with a cargo net over their pickups and trailers, theyve all been getting expensive fines for insecure loads, about time for some of them?

No law here about covering loads, but should be.  I scrapped some insulated wire from a bldg we demo'd six months ago, got $1/lb for insulated wire. [$350]

Afterwards, I thought I should have spent the time to strip off the insulation, bare copper scraps for $2.50/lb.

The recycling company you bring that wire to must have to burn? that insulation off of it to get to the bare copper wire..

they have a tumbler im told?it strips the wire clean and runs an eddy current or some #$%* to separate ferrous?burning copper wastes it!you get half the price for "burnt copper"includes any pieces with soldered parts, sometimes ill separate the copper pipe from brass fittings if I think its worthwhile, theyll only pay brass price for it otherwise,i aint greedy its free #$%* anyway but make the most with little effort,i strip the foam insulation from copper pipe used in aircon units though, its too easy, that way you end up with good clean copper,i don't bother with soft aluminium you need too much of it,or steel, its $100 per metric ton!you get about 5 or 6 bucks for a big truck battery so I don't bother too much with them either, dont like the acid fumes attacking #$%* around the place, plus they are always greasy filthy things for 5 bloody bucks if that?

Gypsies in my country steal copper cables and burn the insulation off - from places like railroads and mine shafts.

Maybe they should invest in a tumblee than  ;D

I welded some oval chain links to my sisters lawn mower trailer for tie down attachment points. I did the same on my brothers motorcycle trailer.
