Another neewbie
« on: September 28, 2006, 03:30:58 PM »
Hi, I`ve been lurking for a while and figgered I`d introduce myself. I was a member of the ollld mailing list, back then (1997-8) I had a 75 CB750, like the story goes I was "pressured" into selling it, regretted it instantly. It took me another 2 years to find a suitable replacement. I have had my current bike since 2000 but it`s been off the road for the past 3 years. Hopefully over this winter I`ll be able to get it back into riding condition and hopefully do some mods to it. I`d like to wind up with a slightly stripped down but largely original version of the bike...time will tell.

Welcome.  Good luck on your rebuild, and don't do what I did.  I have pretty much the same story with a non-running '77 CB750 that I had ignored for 2-3 years.  I waited until late last Spring to get started on it.  I finally got it running good just last week :)  But now I'm almost out of riding weather. :(
