If you have the mount the caliper bolts right to it.

Well I finally got back to the frankenbike.

After the goldwing head gasket and a bunch of other projects.

Here she is with the tunnel about complete.

The gas cap is fabbed (by my good buddy gene).

Motor in for clearance issues on the tunnel (space for the carbs etc)

Looks great. Is that tank steel or aluminum? I wouldn't bother painting it. It looks perfect in raw metal.

You will probably check this before you ride it, but watch that fork brace on your sliding tubes. Looks like it would give an Ike Turner quality smack to your lower triple tree if you hit a bump.

Looks good kghost!
Really like the extra height the tank has compared to a stock tank.
The steereing head is mounted quite high on the 750 frame and the higher tank really flows well with it!

TT, That front wheel is only there to hold the front of the bike up and gives something to come down on.

what thickness aluminium are you using for the tank, and how are you forming it?
only asking cause i want to do a similar tank myself for my second bike.

Was if I recall .060.

Made a buck and knocked it to shape...wheeled and planished after welding

If ya look back a ways you can see it in halves and bottom

I think it would look pretty cool if it was like the CL250/350 scrambler with heat shields where your leg is going to hit it. Just imagine the sound its going to make and how it will look!!
