CycleX. I tried to do their chrome exchange deal, but they were out of parts. They actually send them out and have them done by another shop. I'm pretty sure I got back the parts I sent them. It's not show chrome, but it's not bad. Plenty good enough for a daily rider.
Oh....I as hoping it was a Hou shop.
I haven't heard of any decent chrome shops in Houston. I would think with all the car and bike stuff in Austin there would be a quality chrome shop there.
There is only one. I had my K4 mufflers rechomed there a couple years back.
David is the owner of CenTex Plating, he is very expensive and busy but does a great job.
Many shops around the country wont do exhaust, they dont want to contaminate their tank. Browns, the most respected plater in the country, recently closed.
