Sorry to hear about the shocks, Bud.  Consider Ikons, member Nobelhops is now the U.S distributor.

What exhaust?

I've got some shocks coming.  I had to compromise a little due to finances.  If they turn out to be junk I'll look at upgrading to Ikons.

The exhaust is a Yamiya as Dave stated.

I've pretty much got the hand controls sorted out.  Now I can drill the holes for the switches and finish up the wiring.

The wiring is done.  All systems I can test are working.  I haven't tested the ignition yet because I haven't tried to crank the engine yet.  I want to polish the oil lines and put some oil in the engine before I try to crank it.  Also, because the engine isn't running yet I can't test the kill switch, but the relay is working, so that's a good sign.

They were sold as Cyclesmith shocks, but I'm pretty sure they're Emgo shocks.  I went with some 365's to gain some clearance.  I like the stance.

Thanks, Mike.  I planned out where all the big stuff was going to go.  Had to figure out a lot along the way.

You can test anything with your meter. If it works with it, it will work in the real world. Have confidence! A tidy looking job.

Thanks.  I'm as confident as I can be at this point.  Continuity wise I've tested everything I can think to test, still I won't know 100% if all systems are go until I fire this puppy up.  That moment of truth...

I'm exhausted.

I also got the brake caliper installed.  Waiting on a new adjustment bolt and spring.

Things left to do:
Rebuild carbs.
Purchase an air cleaner.
Color sand and polish gas tank.
Clear coat wooden rear section one more time, wet sand and polish and install.
Special order and install throttle and clutch cables. (Don't pay attention to the clutch cable that's on the bike now.  It's just there for fitting and testing purposes.)
Install front brake line.
Hook up starter.
Add gas and oil.
Hit the start button.

Hook up a battery, and use your meter to test the voltage at the switches. The engine doesn't need to fire except to test the charging system.

I've hooked up the battery and everything appears to be working properly.  Turn the key on and there's power to the ignition, headlight works, tail light works, brake light works, speedo light works, horn works, the kill switch relay disengages, the starter solenoid is engaging when I hit the start button...I think I'm good.

Looks fantastic Bud!

Thanks Steve.  Hopefully I'll be able to take a trip to the Hill Country on it this spring.  I sure hope this won't be another soggy year.

Thanks, Mike.  I can see the finish line.  Actually I could see the finish line when I began this project 2 1/2 years ago or I wouldn't have started.  At the time I thought it would only take me a year.  I forgot to take into account that I can't leave things stock.

Seems when we do these "rebuilds" for a hobby, it takes much longer than anticipated, especially when we have other ridable bikes!
The Park Racer was to be a quick 3 month refresh, said and done it will probably be a year long project.
Would be nice to ride them both in the Hill Country this spring.
