Scaled down gauges on '79 650
« on: September 15, 2014, 09:39:32 AM »
I'm starting to pick up parts for the (slight) modifications I'm doing on my '79 650.

I'm going to lower the gauges one way or another, and am trying to decide between fabricating a bracket that will set the originals below the top triple tree, or buying a pre-existing aftermarket solution, with new, smaller gauges.

Was sniffing around on ebay and started to wonder:  will the smaller gauges from cb 350s and 360s work on the 650?  Or are the ratios different and not easily adaptable?

If anyone has a handle on this, would really like to know.

Thanks!
