There is an old long established dealer in my area with some nice old 70's Jap and British trade in bikes and several warehouses. It is rumored that he still has some old vintage Yamaha's still in the crates. I've tried to buy some Kaw triples he has but will not sell any to the general public.   :'(
I have to find a way to explore some of those other buildings. !!

I don't see why that bike would be worth anywhere near that money, even brand new in the box. It's just an old enduro Yamaha.

Not even sure what year that is but have read about Rick Brett buying a couple of Kawasaki Triples that were still in the crate but unfortunately they were stored badly and had rust and corrosion even though never unpacked. There is something to be said for a good quality wax and attention  ;)  That bike posted has some mighty expensive cardboard around it.

Geez I had a 1981 XT500 and it was a great bike, but I wouldn't pay that much for one, even if it was still in it's crate.......... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
