So Who Are Time Machine Bikes?
« on: September 29, 2006, 12:09:48 PM »
After failing to get a bid on a selection of sohc4 bikes, including (Mark's?) CR750, Time machine Bikes in Chelmsford UK have put up one of the 550s. They also seem to have a selection (of sizes) of t-shirts with the iconic 750-4 engine print.

That is a beautifully clean 550 and the SOHC4 sticker is prominently displayed.

Last time, he/they had this one up for £1750 as part of the lot.  Not a bad price if it really is pristine (it's what I got for my K3 in the spring).

Maybe the wrong time of year though.

The VFR boys that are in the trade reckon to take 20% of the price between October and February...

I'm fairly sure that that is Mark Magenis' CR750. I did email him when the auction first went up.

So are you TMB or is it a "sale or return" outfit?

It just seemed like a good ebay name - I got bored with 'bikerswallets', it got too many comments about emptying bikers wallets
when it only came about because I was selling wallets.

If I had the capital then 'Time Machine Bikes' would become a real life classic Honda dealership, but I would need a lot more bikes
to make it viable as a full time occupation. ;D ;D ;D ;D
