Bad 350f seat. Any recover services?
« on: September 20, 2014, 04:47:57 PM »
My seat is terrible. And the chrome trim is shot. Does anyone on the forum have a seat recovering or restoring service? Or know of one?  Thanks.

I believe there are several sources for kits to re-cover the seat yourself, that are model specific and provide a new skin to replace the existing material over the foam.  One that is fairly authentic is called "gumtoo", or something like that - on eBay.  I've used him before to recover another Honda model.

As for the trim band - you could either leave it off, replace it with some auto trim plastic, or maybe find a replacement.

Thanks - I emailed Gumtwo randomly before this and he got back to me about using car door edge guard. I'll buy his cover.

Corbin in Hollister, CA or Sargent in Somewhere, FLA. More of rebuild/restomod vs just recover. Sargent may be closer to a recover.

++Gumtwo and his seat covers.  The one I used on a C105 was good quality and a perfect fit.
