Anyone know where I can get these felt pieces?

They don't hold up to cleaning well.  I've done a search here but didn't find anything despite having seen them mentioned before.

I don't think you can find those anymore. I bought a cheap ($10) hole punch set on amazon that had the punch sizes for the inner and outer diameter that I wanted and made my own out of a stiff piece of felt. Don't use the soft felt as it will fall apart too easily.

put them back in, they're ok.  This is not an air seal, they are merely a particulate barrier.  I know people usually feel like this needs to be "sealed" but felt isn't something that seals very well anyways.  If you still feel like you need to "seal" that area, keep in mind that the vacuum sync procedure for your carbs involves completely removing the cap and adjusting the screws while they are off.

Thanks hair.. I don't really feel like it's supposed to seal out air but that one isn't going to go back in there.  It's pretty ratty.

You're not going to get the sizes for 78. He only does up to 76. Custom is the way to go. I have felt sheets and the hole punch set sitting in my toolbox to make these for my spare carbs. Spent forever researching it.

You're correct.. He carries 8mm but not 10mm.  He just sent me the following email:

Sorry to say I don't have the 10mm shaft seals, only the 8.

I'm thinking about it but the tooling costs so much that if you can't sell a crapload of them it's not worth it.

And I don't know how much demand there is for them so it's a gamble all the way. I've sold enough of the 8mm to pay for themselves.

Keep an eye out--I've got my guy working up a price.
