Rear wheel/sprocket locking tabs

I'm building a set of wheels and I'm missing the locking tabs that go on the sprocket cover plate and hold the nuts in place.
Could I use lock washers and/or blue LocTite instead?

I have on several bikes that came with those and the rotors/rims/sprockets are still on.

Or NyLocks. As long so you use a supplemental locking system, you'll be fine.

Or outer bolt threads whipped by chains at large when broken, work as a thread lock. :-)
