Am I the only one with no search and no private message banner? If I click on the blue stripe search appears and then I can drag down and messages appear.

No Don mine has been the the same way to for several days now. Just thought it was my crazy computer.

Same here. Also seems 'location' in the avatars has gone too. Not vital I know, but helpful and interesting to know where members are based.
