HI everyone
« on: August 23, 2014, 05:50:42 PM »
Hi all
Just signed up to your great forum. My name is Ray and I live in Western Australia. I had my first CB750 some 40 years ago and have been thinking about taking the plunge and finding another to restore for a few years now. The opportunity came up recently to import a bike fairly easily from the states so I found a 1974 model that should be arriving here in Oz late November with a bit of luck. Bike is pretty run down but mostly complete. A good bike to start the project with I think

The plan is to spend a year or two on a complete restoration. The bike wont arrive here in Australia until November at the earliest, so in the mean time I,m just tracking down a few of the items I know I,m going to need. Living in a very remote part of the country isn't going to make the job an easier I guess. Anything I cant do myself will involve shipping the job out to the nearest big city which is nearly 2000 klms away.  Not any any real hurry though
