And after the taste test, the winner is....Richland Rum. By only a hair, Richland Rum edged out the 10 year Bulleit Bourbon, although we both admitted the Bulleit was really good. Just that Richland Rum has the caramel/vanilla aftertaste that put it over the top.
And now you know what Bill and I did while Logan worked on lacing the rims!
Bill's excellent explanation taught both Logan and I how to lace the rim. Logan got the front one done in about 20 minutes. But the back one? Well, after 2 hours of lacing, unlacing, relacing (rinse, wash, repeat) we finally all realized that Buchanan's had indeed sent the wrong size outer spokes for the 17" rear rim that goes on the 78K model bikes. Many on here (Stoli and others) have alluded to this happening with them before as well, so we knew it was a possibility. Tomorrow, I'll call them and try to get the problem rectified. It may well end up by me sending the hub and rim to Buchanan's along with the spokes/nipples and having them fit it, lace it, and true it for me.
