I have several K covers and 2 F2-3 covers...............I don't see a difference in the cover other than paint.

So on the F models they just turn the cover upside down so that the fin fits into  the groove on the filter base? OCD keeps me from believing this ;D ;D

OK..........so I put my gloves on and handled a few of my filter-covers.............Your correct........the covers are basically rotated 180 on the F2-3 models. Fits like a glove.  The K covers will fit.............but I did notice that the fins are thinner and trimmed to different lengths.  If you insist..........I have a spare F2 cover...........$20 shipped...........its decent with no chips...........may have a scratch or two in the paint..........sorry, no spare bolt.

So that's it. Thanks for posting the pictures I wonder why they cut the fins different is it so they don't pick up heat from the exhaust? or just styling? Inquiring minds what to know ;D ;D ;D I would like to buy your filter cover Old Scrambler PM on the way.
