CB400F Indicator Problem
« on: October 06, 2014, 05:41:34 AM »
Hi there, I’ve just replaced the standard indicators with new mini ones (bulb type and not LED type) to a 1977 CB400F. The bulbs in the new ones are 12v/10w but the original ones are 12v/24w. Is this the reason why they have stopped flashing when switched on???.

Thanks for any help

the only thing i could think of is they are not pulling enough current to make the winker do its thing. Much like switching to LED bulbs.

Nice bike! I like the painted wheels , I've also heard of using in-line resistors to fix the issue
