Hey guys for some reason my hydraulic front Brake light switch stop working after I installed steel braided lines? Anybody else had this issue? Was I suppose to do something when I switched my lines?

could be an air bubble, or bubbles still in the line.

Maybe too obvious, but you didn't replace it with a single hose that bypasses the inline switch, right?

Haha. Nope, replaced with two lines. I have a speed bleeder and bled the brakes without it. didn't notice any bubbles.

An air bubble will be the same pressure as the fluid and still activate the pressure switch. Either the switch coincidentally failed when changing hoses or the wiring was damaged - or improperly reconnected.
Do you get a firm lever and strong braking? That would mean the system pressure is OK and the switch or wiring should be investigated. A multimeter can tell you if the switch is closing on brakeline pressure. Jamming an unfolded paperclip (or any conductor) into the switch bullet connector ends (without touching ground) will show if the wiring to there is OK.

had the same problem a couple of months ago , when fitted my new braided lines,
it started to be intermittent at first then stopped working altogether ,
I didn't think it was the switch ,checked everything , wiring ,re-bled the brakes
in the end I got a new pressure switch and it cured the problem ,
maybe the extra pressure in the system nackers the old switches ,
Get a new switch cos it will do your head in iff you dont

I'm such a douche... Realized that through the installation I actually unplugged one of the wires leading to the front brake stop switch. Everything works fine. Thanks for the help nonetheless fellas.
