Has anyone converted their headlight reflector to an h4? Is this just an off the shelf 7"? Thanks

Yeah, you just plug it in.

The original handlebar controls are not built to handle the current. To do it properly, relays for headlight are recommended.

Thank you! I'll order one up. I'm planning on either an h4 with lower wattage, or drop in led conversion.... I used an led on my CB350, and it's worked well thus far. Thanks again!

I finished my upgrade earlier today, and just got done riding about 30-45 min at nigh. I used the "CWC-7006" H4 lens with a 45/45 h4 and it's not too bad. Obviously not as good as a 60/55, but beam and spread both high and low are very adequate. I believe the stocker is 50/45w, and it the new bulb didn't seem to drain anything. DEFINATELY an upgrade to do for $17.00. I did have to do some squishing to get the trim ring/headlight carrier to seat correctly. The assembly as a whole seems to fit better in the bucket as it looks like it's a little more shallow than the original.
