Next one will be a keeper...well for a while anyways lol

For real though, my next bike I have no plans on selling.  I want this build to go at a slower pace.  Hoping I can hold out for a Sohc 4 bike again

Yeah I can dig. Some of the similar vintage Yamahas are pretty cool too.

Either way you did an awesome job. Do you know the guy you sold it to?

No I didnt.  Guy contacted me when I had the bike for sale the first time around and had my number saved.
He lives about an hour and a half out and wanted to check my bike out and another close to me.  He ended up not looking at the other and bought mine on the spot.

Well I bought the red headed step child it seems to be of the vintage bike world.  Two kz400's. Purple one has a title and locked up motor and the green one runs and is in decent shape but no title.

I'll be keeping my eye out for project 550 bike but... In the meantime I'll be wrenching on a couple Kawi twins...

Funny how everything back then looked basically the same...

I'm sure they'll be just as fun.

Same thing that happened to me. The complete bike with the running engine had no title and the chopped up pile of frame had the title...  So I had to remove the crap the PO welded onto the crap frame and now transferring the stuff from the other bike...after it goes through the complete rebuild process that is...
