cheap fram filters

Went to wally world last week and they had a bunch of 6009 fram filters for $2. 
18 grand and 18 miles dont make you a biker

 I imagine those are OK, some of the drag racers have had nightmares with fram.

I wont use auto fram filters.     There was problems also with the 6009 filters not fitting right many years ago.

I stick with Bosch, I believe it has good ratio price/performance - but it is a spin on.  Spin on is easier and more convenient to change and I also like the fact that it does not involve repeatedly tightening the filters steel bolt into the aluminum engine block.

More important than filter is regular oil change, IMHO.
