Newbie in York, PA
« on: October 09, 2014, 08:48:10 PM »
Hello everyone! Checking in from south central PA. Thinking about wiping the dust off of my 78' 550k and getting her road worthy again. It was my first bike I acquired back in 96'. Rode it till 2003 when I installed a battery with the posts reversed and fried the rectifier. Bought a H-D and its been sitting ever since. I have several other Hondas but they all have an extra wheel on the back and aren't made for the road . I'll be looking for some advice and probably in time some parts as well. Thanks for the add!

Welcome from Texas.  Would be a good time for you to upgrade to a modern rectifier/regulater combo unit....
