Ignition switch repair?
« on: October 17, 2014, 05:15:47 PM »
My brake light works fine but my tail light isn't working and I think I've found the problem... The Brown/White wire on my ignition switch is no longer connected. Can this be soldered to repair it? There is corrosion on other wires as well. Can these be cleaned or should I replace the switch?
Thanks!

If your ignition switch is working fine then i would just fix the broken wire, slide on a piece of heat shrink plastic on the long side of the wire then repair, slide the heat shrink over the repair and heat, all fixed..... ;)

If You can't fix it with a hammer, You've got an electrical problem.
