Turbo, don't worry about a sleeping/showering spot. Both beds in my room are spoken for unless one of us should be a no show. Not sure if they can supply pull outs. The folding cot idea is good. Sleeping bags always work in a pinch. All you need to worry about is getting there.

Gets cheaper the more you pack in  ;) but I'm claiming a bed

Trey, when are you planning on showing up? I'm planning on hitching a ride with Bill from Atlanta but not sure of a time table for us yet.

Man you have really made a ton of progress on this project. Nice work. So what's lacking to keep you from finishing it?? Remember, Friday afternoon is a paid test session so if its running and hasn't been down the track before, that's the time to get the bugs worked out before race time.

I got to spend most of my day looking for this little #$%*.....was going to be a show stopper. Yes it was in cam chain valley.
Good new is the bike is on the ground rolls nicely has good front end now (spend too much time chasing the right rotor).
Should be close to firing...leak testing today, fixing the seat and if it warms paint the tank....
Definitely have been hitting the wall trying to balance home life and bike life....
Just a few more days....

Fellas, don't forget the basic safety items for tech: chain guard and tether kill of some kind. In street, you must have a headlight and a taillight. They can both be aftermarket - no flashlights. While they probably won't check if those lights work, at least be sure you can turn the taillight on for night racing.

Some progress...maybe enough cause I actually like the bike (except where the upholstery shop stepped on my seat pan) now. Tomorrow is the day to find if she lives and leaks or just lives...or doesn't   :o
