Well for me it is about the event, especially since I have zero points etc etc... My plan was always to go on Thursday, and frankly (hahaha) if I spend another dime before I leave I may as well just come home with you and Gladys. Since it is a "stock" bike, and number board might just go one on the stocker K3 and it'll probably be about the same ride....
You guys have much more at stake this season and I hope to continue in my support role, but the gear (boots-n-pants...etc) is already in the truck and if all is favorable I'll run what I brung... I can't get to hung up on anything or it won't be fun ;D

BTW, I got a chuckle watching the video of your kick-starting the bike; I also kick my bike from the side, but I use my left foot. No way I could kick it goofy-foot! In fact, I'm thinking of re-fitting the electric starter. :o :o

I am really wanting to make some passes on this bike yet this season to know what I want to improve over the winter, but it is simply not in the cards this time.

I would like to thank everyone for their support and encouragement on my quest to try to make this event. With any luck hopefully I can make the next one, maybe even a race closer for me. I wish everyone a fun and safe time.

Dave, first off, I hope you're feeling better. I also want to say you did a great job on getting this bike together on such a short time line. It takes some, years to build what you put together in no time and it turned out nice.

Hoping we'll get to see you next season. Not sure if they're going back to VMP next season but I'm sure its a bit closer than SGMP. Maybe you'll consider making it there. Take your time to get the bike sorted out.

I got my back together- I just don't know if it'll shift this time but i'll find out during the first time trial on Friday afternoon.

Talked to the guys, Larry trailered his up so they were able to use his to get most of the bikes and gear to the track. They'll go back to effect repairs to the trailer tomorrow, the spindle was spared, might need to massage the threads a little...

Engine swaps in the pits tonight... don't count CG out just yet!

No comment on the axle. Didn't do any maintenance on my trailer either. Fingers crossed. Glad they had a back up close by. Got to get a few hours rest and then we're pulling out.

30 minutes with the files to reshape the spindle threads and the trailer is at the track. More of an adventure than it should have been, more detailed write up will be included in the "weekend update" after we've had our fun! 8-)

No guarantees it will make it as far as Atlanta!

Great work Wilbur and Larz on getting the trailer back to track. Had a few people ask me," was that Bills trailer we passed on the side of the road "? My answer, yes, but he's too busy to go back to get it. Lol

Don't think he made the 1st round though and Frank pulled a red and broke out as well.
I think Frank can buy back in but not sure about Billy.
