How's the diet going, Wil? Speedo delete is fairly quick and reversible, and will shave a few pounds. PM me your address and I'll send you a couple of spacers. (Seems I can't sell them, so I may as well give them away to a deserving racer. ;))

Ordered a set of OEM clutches. Was able to find the odd steel and odd fiber from 2 different places for the F2 basket. Planning to change the clutches, oil, filter and spark plugs this weekend after I drop the oil pan to check for shiny stuff-lol. Going to drain the old race gas out and put in fresh fuel, lube and adjust the chain and do a general check over.

Should be ready for Valdosta with the Honda if all goes well.

I've still got to reinstall the top end on the wife's dragbike due a mishap with a few valves and  piston tops. Need to do some maintenance on my no bar KZ Crazy 8's bike as well.

No rest for a racer!!! Bottom line, you've got to love this sport to keep torturing yourself year after year.

See you fellas in the lanes. Lets try to get a full group shot this year guys!!!!!!!

Richard,

While I can't speak for Wilbur, you're more than welcome to take a look at my F model if it will be helpful in mocking up your electric shifter kill. The set up should be very close to the same for each SOHC. Lets get together on Friday  at the race at some point or any other time over the weekend.

Just my darn luck. Ordered the OEM odd clutch fiber from Cheap Cycle parts as it showed it to be available. Just got an email saying it was discontinued and they refunded my money. Now I'm on the search again so I can get the clutch pack in the bike before next Wednesday.

Anyone know where I can get a new OEM, 22202-392-000 , DISK B, CLUTCH FRICTION???????

George, he needs the B disk, with the wider tabs where it fits into the fingers on the basket. Only one used per clutch, it is the outermost disk.

My mistake, I have a chart that must have mistakenly considered them interchangeable with the 300-000 friction discs.  Never mind ::)

Thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow Scottly. ;)

The B disks weren't used on the early bikes. The 371-000 A disks are interchangeable with the 300-000 parts.

Frank,

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X22202-392-000.TRS0&_nkw=22202-392-000&_sacat=0

Grab it!!

NO! NO! NO!

The title of that listing does not match the part that is pictured! The part that is pictured shows the label "22202-390-000, which is the "A" disk. It also has the straight grooves, while the original Honda part 22202-392-000 has slanted grooves...
TAMTF...

Bring a full sized cardboard cut out of yourself to stand in the pit while your out on track, hahahaha preferably with wrenches in hand. hahahahahahaha
What they really need is a Sam Green cut out... Ya know, to keep the ladies from distracting the racers. ;D
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!
