1976 CB550 build

I picked up this bike from a friend here in WA for $500. It was in really good shape and no one knows when the last time it ran ( Pre 2006 ) Here it is when I picked it up.
My first plan was to get the bike running before I put a lot of time and money into it. I cleaned the carbs out, fresh gas and oil and new plugs. It took some lovin' but after a few cranks and studders it ran on all 4 cylinders and sounded great!!

Sorry I don't know why it keeps posting sideways pictures. 
I got some Tarrozi rearsets for the bike and installed the clubmans for the time being. Any tips on why my headlight will not get power?? I followed the wires and nothing is broken or shorted out yet it has no power. All the other lights on the bike work it's driving me insane!!
Also covered the seat which was a huge eyesore!

fuses all good, bulb works. No power at 3 prong. I followed the wiring diagram and even tried swapping wires around.. no power to prong. Does anything else need to be grounded to work maybe.

I'll check out the ignition. And yeh I bought the cover real cheap and realized today it didn't for right and wasn't for the F

Just purchased the SS brake lines and installing my master cylinder rebuild. Also ordered my Cognito Moto rearset mounts.

I already had a huge dent in the one side... something must have fell on it before I owned it. So why not... I think it looks good just have to touch up and do some body work

yea I think i'm going to round the front of the dents out, not liking the flat line. As a bonus it knocked a ton of rust off the inside of the tank :)

Pretty upset about my rearsets. I have the F frame so nothing I have will mount them. Spent $300 on them and the mounts and I have to cut the rear brake spline off my frame to make the work.. WTF?! So if anyone wants some rearsets I have some. I feel all crunched up with the stock foot postion with clubmans. If anyone has any input i'd greatly appreciate it.

Just can't believe I spent $75 on them mounts and can't use. And there has to be a return spring?

Yeah I got a 1975 550F and my mounts fit perfectly. All I had to do was shim with spacers and that's just because I was particular about. Not sure if the year difference would be a huge difference. Also, calj, thanks again for the help with m-unit!

Devin is a great guy and the products I have purchased from him are great as well.

Here you go! Got lucky I was gonna coat my tank but she's still drying. They bolt to the swing arm bolt and the engine mount bolt. You need to cut the static frame mounted bolt off the frame for it to fit I believe. Have a look. You can see where the bolt was where the flat grinder spot is.

yes.... but right behind that bolt you ground off was the mount for the brake spline... that you must have removed because its not in your picture,... you don't use a return spring?
