Topic: Championship win for a small sohc :)

After narrowingly missing last year's 750 class italian vintage championship with his big bore 650/740 sohc, Marco Leardini took this year's title, fending off a variety of very fast 750 ducs of the TT1 variety. He was often faster than most open class 1100's actually!

He's not exactly a newbie, I think he's got a past in national 125 series and the bike is built by his father, who was a racer in the past too. Very nice people operating from a small van as a team. bike is super fast but also  worryingly "stock"... runs regular 28mm CB750 carbs.... for all who think that a set of Keihin CRs stands between you and all the glory

dont know that much about it, i think it's a 650 crank in 550 cases and frame. maybe the head is a 650's too

misnao was last round and season is over but with moving house in the middle of summer and other personal issues I did only 3 regularity races out of 6 at the end,( 2 of them rained out!) so odd year really.... hope next year i will have more time to do them all.
