Well I have been reading all the great information on this site since September 2013 when I got my 1974 CB750 k5 ,
all my servicing was from reading old posts and asking a few things, Thanks for all the help fellas ,
when I bought the bike it needed a seat and rear indicators to put back to standard ,I also got a very good tank and side covers one had 2 cracks but same colour as the original bike Flake Apricot Red , how lucky was that lol
a few pics below from when I got it ,to tidying up, The Video Link is now as I like her
first off the oil light was staying on so I dropped the oil , removed the oil pan, then out with the oil pump serviced it and replaced the O-rings ,put all back ,new spark plugs, oil filter, air filter , refilled the oil , started 2nd kick ,then carbs needed balancing and air screws adjusting , so did that and then the old gal was running sweet as a nut,
on with the riding till the cold came ,December North East England cold that time of year ,
over the winter months I decided I wanted to change the bars for 400 bars, as like the look and the ride position of replaced tyres for the same sizes as old ones had cracks on the walls ,front 100/90 19 and rear 130/90 16 ,
lowered the bike front and rear ( pushed forks through the top tree )new lower custom Hagon Rear shocks ,
small Indicators ( Turn signals )and rear light, new halogen headlight ,
low brats style seat and front fender from Thailand
rear alloy fender for home that I cut down and mounted new small rear light ,
The brakes as you know are piss poor so I ordered EBC brake Disc (rotor) with the Kevlar pads,
had to cut 5mm off bottom of the pad to clear new floating disc rivets
top and bottom braded hoses , direct into caliper ( remove conical inside the caliper )
master cylinder rebuild kit as it was leaking,
caliper seal ,aftermarket piston , this was the best upgrade I have made , it stops almost like a new bike, make this your 1st upgrade you wont be disappointed ,
electronic ignition from David Silvers was next job on the list and after 1500 miles very happy with this upgarde ,
No start button on bike so got 1 from USA installed it starter motor works perfect but battery low on power so
New Gel Battery lots of power to the starter motor and crank, holds charge longer on the bike, only 1 months in so cant be Shure if long term better than SLA,
Forks leak so stripped cleaned new seals and oil,
that's all so far ,

Link to a short video below of how the bike is now

Feel free to comment , its good to have feed back Thanks again fellas

Nice job! Did those Jardine pipes come with it? They have a nice sound to them.

They aren't the prettiest shape for these bikes, but they last a long time, provide appropriate back pressure, and have a gutteral sound to them that isn't annoying on even long trips. I only wish Jardine had made them in a reverse-cone shape back then, so they would look nicer today!
