So the first thing i did it try to get the flat belt to track correctly.......Holy crap i just about went into my boxes and fetched out a turbo instead.
So tracking on 2 pulleys is hard enough with worn shafts and pully surfaces, not to mention questioable bearings.
First off was to flip spacers around to make sure the pulleys were centered .......Great, did it track ,yes alittle better.
(a little tid bit on flat belts one pulley only should be crowned not two)both of mine were crowned.
But to make things worse lets add a third pulley ,the tensioner.especially one with a worn to poop seating surface (on the shaft and in the housing)once tensioned the belts on this thing couldn't be tamed with out 45 min of adjusting the smallest of small movements.
Then it would track for about 30 seconds and the belt would slowly start to move in the direction of the housing and try to eat itself.
The only thing to do now is put things on a dial gauge and and then true everything up
